Dear Fitzgerald Parents,

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! I am very happy to welcome you to Fitzgerald Elementary and serve as your principal. I look forward to working with you to make this school year rewarding and fulfilling for our students. As parents and educators, we must work together. Communication between home and school is vital.  Letting us know your priorities for your children’s education is critical to his or her success.  We will do our very best to provide an instructional program that meets your children’s educational needs, and in turn, we ask for your support in this pursuit.

 As we begin this year, please remember that this is your school and we welcome your involvement. I encourage you to become a part of Fitzgerald’s Parent Teacher Association, School Site Council and our English Language Advisory Committee.

The faculty and staff at Fitzgerald Elementary are dedicated to maintaining high expectations so that each student can reach his/her full potential. Our goal is to provide exemplary educational opportunities for all students.  We strive to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment that promotes academic achievement and positive social growth. Working together, we will reach our collective and individual goals, while succeeding in the education of every student.
