I would like to welcome all of our families to Fitzgerald Elementary School where “Positive Attitudes Succeed” is our motto.
The 2010-2011 school-year will bring many exciting experiences. I am looking forward to my position as Elementary Principal this year at Fitzgerald Elementary School. I have served The Rialto Unified District in several roles since 1984. I have been a Resource Specialist, Special Day Class teacher, Teacher Project Leader, Mentor Teacher, and Elementary Administrator. I believe that the knowledge and experience I have gleaned from these positions will assist in providing your child with an exemplary education.
Our focus is student achievement and every member of the school community is available to assist parents and students in reaching their academic and social goals. We encourage families to be active participants in School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Council, Parent/Teacher Association, Fathers of Fitzgerald, and Teacher/Parent Conferences. Classroom volunteers are appreciated and the front office can provide information on the process of volunteering in the classroom. Our PTA sponsors Family Nights, Movie Nights, Fund Raisers,and Book Fairs during the school year. We hope everyone will join PTA and, if you have time, volunteer to help at any of the events.
I am looking forward to the coming school year and want all of you to know that I am available to speak with you at any time with regard to your child’s school success. Thank you for entrusting your most precious gifts with us. We will treasure them!.
